But first, an important announcement from the highest Walker Court!

I have news for the new Walker Site. I've had the first wreck in 70 years of driving. At a four way stop.
It wasn't my fault, but the Insurance Cos. will have to fight it out.

A young girl hit me after driving around the car stopped on my left. He was out of his car picking something up on the road instersection and had gone back to his car. Since there were no other cars waiting, I went on across, it was my turn anyway, and the next thing I knew there was the crashing of metal on metal. I never did see the car coming that hit me.
I pulled over and stopped and so did she. I went to her car and asked her what happened? She said she had pulled around the car that was stopped in front of her and didn't see any other cars around so she started crossing the intersection.

My little red car is hurt bad.

Both doors are sprung, the hood is sprung and the whole drivers side is scratched and the front fender sprung.
I had Betty with me, really on the way to the car wash to get the snow and salt grime off of the car and then we were going out to lunch and shopping. We were'nt hurt at all, not even shook up, mentally or physically.
I just turned to her and I think I said "Oh, shit", does that sound stressed. I don't even think I got my heart rate up any.

Now, I'll just wait on the Insurance Cos. to make up their mind who's going to pay.

I would like to end today's entries with a pic.
On January 12, 2009, we Walker's in Asheville, NC experienced the frozen mountains in our front yard.
A frozen fog crossed the mountains overnite and left us with this beautiful view in the morning.
