I just wanted to say, congratulation to Stevie for kicking the smoking habit, you'll live a lot longer.
Also, John, you look 10 years younger and handsomer(is that a word?) with your hair cut.
Lee, there's no name like WALKER, is there.
I was going to comment on Angie and Stephen's new purchase, but I see she has already told you all.
Sheri is a smart girl, she's in Florida, while I'm sitting here looking out my window at a foot of snow.
The management has finally plowed my driveway, but now it's an ice rink and I'm not a very good ice skater,
so guess I'll stay in.
I do have power and a fireplace, so I'm lucky.
Barb got out to go to work today so I guess things are getting back to normal, but I think more snow is in the forcast.

Check out the house we just bought! :) We'll send more pictures when we move in and get everything settled. They asked $89,900, we offered $84,500, they countered at $86,500, and we took it. The house has been on the market since April. They bought the house for about $100,000 5 years ago, so that shows just how bad the market is here right now. The pictures I'm attaching are the ones from the realty website, so the furniture isn't ours. Closing is February 25.

Today over 100,000 homes in Evansville have lost power. There are wires down in Mom and Dad's back yard. Our apartment is about 45 degrees right now, so we came to Stephen's parent's house until we get power back. They're saying it could be the weekend before we get it back! Stephen and his brother pushed about 5 cars out of our street today that were stuck. I'm surprise we were able to get out. There is so much ice and so much snow, but it sure is beautiful! Pray everyone stays safe and keeps warm.

Suggestions!

Great idea, this new website it is. I tried something similar years ago with a family newsletter.
I hope you have better luck than I did on that one. Not really luck, but participation.
I have a couple of questions and some unsolicited suggestions. I notice your email address.
Can you offer email addresses at walkersite.com for other family members? Might do a couple
of things. It would give us an easy to remember address for other family members and might
help maintain interest in the site itself. Or how about adding a place for messages,
private and/or public. People like to see their own stuff on the web. Here's one!,
sub-pages for each family member, there's a lot that could be done with that. Maybe figure
out a way that we could do our own updates online. I think the best way for a site like
this to succeed and thrive is to get people to take ownership. I'll be sending some photos and news.
